Großensee: lake and restaurant with huge garden

The restaurant Strandhus is beautifully located at the lake Grossensee, some 25 minutes drive from Hamburg city center. The restaurant’s shadowy garden is on the lake’s banks and the water is crystal clear and not deep. The restaurant does not mind if you bring your blankets and if children run around naked or in swimsuits and play in the water. This location promises to be perfect with the African wind approaching. We have been there a couple of times.
