The tour is undertaken without gorges or other light sources but the moon, so that you can focus of your hearing and smelling sense. Which animals are awake at this time of the hour? Which is starting to be active? Sounds like rustling in the scrubs, purling of water or the cry of an eagle owl can be heard now. Moreover, a dim lightpath shimmers through the deer park’s forest. Deemed to be exciting!

The Wildpark Schwarze Berge is the closest to Hamburg and also has a great playground. It is home to more than a 1000 animals in generous, species-appropriate enclosures. The 50ha large park comprises a unique landscape of hills and valleys, several ponds and an idyllically situated forest lake, surrounded by mixed woodland. On your tour through the park you can observe lynxes, bears, elks, otters and the wolf pack. In large open-air and animal petting enclosures, you can even feed deer, goats and pot-bellied pigs by hand. Enjoy the breathtaking views over Hamburg, the glacial valley of the River Elbe from the 31-metre-high Elbe Viewing Tower and experience the fascinating daily flight show.
