Public ice sakting weekends 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm
The Volksbank Arena is the home of Hamburg Freezers and opens to the public during weekends. As it is the training site for Hamburg freezers the times are limited to 2,5 hours. Skates can be rented, helmets and gloves should be brought along.
On specific days Nestlé is inviting to their disco on ice event (ie. on Saturday 07.02. 7:00 pm). Or you may choose to watch a game of the tough guys after trying skating yourselves. The next opportunity would be on 28.02. at 6:15 pm. Since the public skating finishes at 5:00 pm you have to somehow bridge the one hour, but that should be possible.
