Another great little fun event of the Long Day of UrbanNature : it crawls, chirps and hums in the green corridor in Altona. With wire, paper and glue your children can construct large, colorful beetles, spiders and other creepy crawlies. In parallel, real animals are caught and examined in magnifying glasses, to compare them with the self-made sculptures. The kids can tinker smaller animals and take them home. Two teachers explain how to do it and answer the questions of many curious children .

The above link leads you to the entire program and you will perhaps find the one or other interesting event in your neighborhood. This event can be found here on page 10 of the list.
