The non-profit organisation KinderKinder e.V.’s mission is to promote high quality art for children and by children, with special focus on the presentation of international stage art for kids. This Sunday one of their lovely children festivals takes place at Planten un Blomen in its twentieth year: the “Laut und Luise” music festival for the whole family.

Every year on a Sunday in early summer thousands of children can play with the sound installations of Michael Bradke, can build their own musical instruments and participate in a variety of music workshops. On two stages they can listen to opera, jazz, contemporary music, folk and classical music or sing along with singer-songwriters that work especially for children.

This year’s program comprises HipHop with the (Steppenkids aus der Mongolei) (the kids from the Mongolian steppe), classical music from the children’s orchestra of the Konservatoriums and new music of the (Frantic Percussion Ensemble)… from children songs (Robert Metcalf Band and Hexe Knickebein) to Jazz, Soul and Pop (Men in Blech), for each taste there’ll be something.

We have visited this event twice in the last years and it was great fun for the kids!

Free of charge.
