Kite festival at St. Peter-Ording

From 10th to 12th August St. Peter-Ording becomes an even more stunning beach as there is a kite festival. Hundreds of kites can be admired and a lot of snack bars offer food and beverage. It takes place at Ording part of the beach. You can drive with your car onto the beach where there is a parking place (chargeable) and that’s a thrill in itself for children! You can rent a beach chair or simply bring your blankets. Many bring a windbraking tent. There are free toilets and showers. We’ve been there last weekend and the water was ok warm!
