Winter time with young children is always a challenge in Hamburg, where it rains rather than snows. And, honestly, who really enjoys to go out?! We are constantly facing the danger of boredom which children starting to behave eccentric. I like the indoor playgrounds. I do not need to provide entertainment and my children are happy.
Indoo is a huge indoor playground with many attractions. Climbing walls, a vertical labyrinth in the form of a vessel, a slide vulcano (which my children loved!), trampolins, mini golf, go-cart races, basket ball and football field, and a huge dragon will make every child’s heart jump in anticipation on a rainy day. A bistro serves children-friendly food. A quiet evening is guaranteed after a day there, your children will have spent all their energy 😉
Ahrensburg is accessible from the A1 in 20 minutes. Those who don’t yet know zhe small town should pass the beautiful castle. It’s a real fairytale castle. The Indoor Park treat may allow you to convey a little bit of culture to your children ;= A trail leads all the way around the castle and is completed within half an hour. When it is really freezing, the Ahrensburg citizens go skating on the moat.
