Explore the Wilhelmsburg Island Park without masses of visitors

The Wilhelmsburger Island Park was part of the international garden exhibition in 2013. Although the rush of visitors had not developed as hoped, you still could be sure that masses of people will visit the show on beautiful weekends. One reason for us not to go. The other reason were the exorbitant prices. But this has now changed after the conclusion of the event. Many of the gardens and trails are however kept and maintained, and there are a lot of things for children to explore. Five playgrounds invite you to linger about. 11 gardens of the “World of Motion” have been preserved and invite for interaction. There is even a high ropes course and a climbing gym.
The S-Bahn station Wilhelmsburg is directly opposite of the main entrance to the park, so public transport is no problem.
